Portrait at the Drawing Factory in Paris, 2021

When she was a teenager, Juliette Green developed a unique writing system for taking notes in school. The texts were associated with drawings, pictograms, maps, architectural plans, characters, and speech balloons.

Faithful to this method, she now uses it to tell stories that she invents from scratch, and which often have existential questions as their starting point: Who made the objects around us? What gives birth to vocations? How does our vision of our future change over time?

In 2021, Juliette Green graduated from Beaux-Arts de Paris. She currently works at the Drawing Factory, a Parisian place which brings together 32 artists who draw.
