The Drawing Factory provides studios for around thirty artists who draw in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. I’m lucky to be one of them.
This temporary place opened on the initiative of the Drawing Lab and Centre national des arts plastiques and is located in a former hotel. On the ground floor of the building, a common area hosts conferences or workshops organized on site. Two shared studios located on this floor enable us to work in group, or to organize exhibitions. The 4 upper levels are dedicated to our studios.
The other artists who work at the Drawing Factory are Pooya Abbasian, Ethan Assouline, Fabrice Cazenave, Camille Chastang, Dalila Dalleas Bouzar, Odonchimeg Davaadorj, Chloé Dugit-Gros, Camille Fischer, Gabriel Folli, Eléonore Geissler, Marie Havel, Gabrielle Kourdadze, Boris Kurdi, Vanina Langer, Gaspard Laurent, Benjamin Laurent-Aman, Shuo Hao, Matthias Lehmann, Thomas Léon, Claire Malrieux, Pauline Martinet & Zoé Texereau, Audrey Matt-Aubert, Chloé Poizat, Clovis Retif, Araks Sahakyan, Thibault Scemama de Gialluly, Quentin Spohn, Louise Vendel, Maxime Verdier, Raphaelle Peria, as well as François Reau.
The Drawing Factory will open its doors to art professionals on September 10, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and to the public on September 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
