At the end of June, the Association des Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris awarded prizes to the students of the School and I am very honored to be one of them.
The jury was made up of Grégory Lang, independent curator, Emma Lavigne, director of the Palais de Tokyo, Emmanuelle Lequeux, arts journalist, Alexandra Schillinger, director of the Loevenbruck gallery, and Emmanuel Van der Meulen, artist who graduated from Beaux-Arts de Paris.
For my part, I received the Prix des Amis des Beaux-Arts, also awarded to Max Coulon.
The other winners are Valentin Ranger, who received the agnès b. Prize, Elise Nguyen Quoc, who received the Thaddaeus Ropac Prize, Arnaud Adami, winner of the Bertrand de Demandolx-Dedons Portrait Prize, Emma Passera, winner of the Cabinet Prize Weil, Gotshal & Manges, as well as Barbana Bojadzi, winner of the Khalil de Chazournes Prize.
These awards will result in an exhibition in 2022, with the works of last year’s winners on display in the Chapel at Beaux-Arts de Paris from September 9 to 12, 2021.
